Heavy rains likely in these states today, IMD issued alert

New Delhi: The monsoon is currently at its final stage even though several parts of the country have been receiving incessant rains for the past few days. In fact, there is a possibility of rain in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh today. Let us tell you that the cyclone circulation over the north and the central Bay of Bengal was formed on Saturday and under its influence, a low-pressure area will form over the northwest part of the sea by Tuesday. At the same time, due to the formation of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, many areas of West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand are likely to occur in the next two days.

It is being said that due to the possibility of heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to go to the deep sea areas and at the same time, there is a forecast of rain in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya. Very heavy rainfall is also likely over Arunachal Pradesh on September 22 and 23. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also predicted rain in many areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra. On the other hand, rain is also expected at many places in Konkan, Goa and South Gujarat. At the same time, Delhi may see a cloudy sky as well as light rain on September 21, 22 and 23. Apart from this, rain is expected again at many places in eastern parts of the country during the next 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh.

Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells is possible over Sikkim, parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana and East Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, light to moderate rains is possible in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands. At the same time, light rains are possible in Northeast India, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Coastal Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and South Gujarat.
