Jamshedpur: Tatanagar RPF has seized crores of exotic snakes and other animals from the general bogie of Nilanchal Express in Jamshedpur, Chhattisgarh. The team has also recovered a sand boa snake. According to the police, the price of this snake in the international market is Rs 25 crore. Along with this, a total of 29 ball pythons of different varieties, including Green Ignoua Lizard, have also been seized. This includes 2 sand boas, 18 European beetles, black worms, 12 green ignoas, and 300 venomous spiders kept in boxes. The same RPF has arrested a woman who smuggled snakes. The value of the snake seized from near her is being told in crores. A woman snake has been smuggled in a train going to Delhi along with snakes and wildlife in huge numbers. The woman is said to be a resident of Pune, Maharashtra. Actually, a new route of smuggling has been created through the route of Jamshedpur. Foreign smugglers are running their gangs through this route. Foreign snakes and other wildlife are being smuggled through the train route. This woman has been arrested after a raid in the general bogie of the Nilanchal Express going to Delhi. The RPF team conducted this raid on the basis of secret information. It was reported that a suit-clad woman was carrying a bag full of exotic snakes to Delhi via Tatanagar in Jharkhand. Taking action, the RPF team searched the bag from the general bogie of the Delhi-bound Nilanchal Express on platform number 3 and the woman has been arrested.
