1 dead, 27 injured after bus overturns on Agra-Lucknow Expressway

Unnao: A gruesome road accident has occurred on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway of Uttar Pradesh again on Thursday morning. Here a double-decker bus overturned and collided with the divider. One passenger died in this accident, while 27 other passengers were injured. It is being told that this bus was going from Delhi towards Gorakhpur. The injured have been admitted to the Bangarmau CHC besides the Trauma Center for treatment.

The accident took place at 7 am on Thursday morning in Garha village police station Behata Muzawar area. After the accident, the passersby and villagers gathered there to listen to the shouts of the people. People took out many passengers buried under the bus and saved their lives. The bus driver is being told to take a nap due to the accident. The high-speed bus entered the divider uncontrollably and went back and flipped over on the road.

In this accident, Jogi resident Kakrahiya police station Bakhera, Gorakhpur died on the spot. While the seriously injured people have been referred to the trauma center Lucknow.  22 injured have been admitted to Bangarmau CHC. Crane had to be used to remove the bus. Due to the accident, the movement on the expressway was affected for about 1 hour.
