Nothing has been known about how it disappeared. However, the police has started investigating it.

The bank officer expressed shock at the incident, saying that the lock of the vault is the same, but the gold packet has disappeared from the vault. Bank management has lodged a complaint with the police in this matter and the police has started investigating the case. In this entire case, District Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay said, 'The bank management informed the police that when the bank's vault was opened on June 9, 101 gold packets of customers taking gold loans were missing from it.' The officer further said that the incident was discovered when the vault was opened with a duplicate key despite losing the original key.

In this regard, Upadhyay further said, 'Police is questioning the bank employee in the case as his involvement in the case cannot be denied. How much gold has disappeared from the treasure and how much was it worth. It is being evaluated now.'
