Chandigarh: This time on the occasion of International Woman's Day, President Ram Nath Kovind will be conferred with the Nari Shakti Award on Man Kaur on 8 March. Maan Kaur is 104 years old. She started running at the age of 93. She is the brand ambassador of the Pinkathon of the country. This was confirmed by her son Gurdev Singh. He said that it is a matter of pride for us and for every woman of the country.

Maan Kaur has also been praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi had congratulated Maan during the 'Fit India Movement' on the occasion of the birthday of hockey magician Major Dhyanchand, who said that Kaur is an inspiration for all. Everyone should take motivation from her. Now, Kaur will be honored by President Kovind Award and two lakh prize money.
