New Delhi: In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, a week ahead of schedule, Rajya Sabha proceedings have been asked to be postponed indefinitely on Wednesday. Today is the tenth day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament and it has been said to postpone the Monsoon Session after the government has taken up important legislative functions. In the Rajya Sabha, Ramdas Athawale said, "Prime Minister Modi has taken the burden of all labourers on himself, so he is loved by the labourers of the country. Santosh Gangwar has got the department of labour. Gangwar has the courage to give justice to the labours".

The Rajya Sabha has passed bills for Occupational Safety, Health and Working Code, 2020 and Industrial Relations Code 2020 and Social Security Code, 2020. Meanwhile, in the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, “Migrant labourers will get migration allowance to go home once a year."

Before giving this statement, he said, "The justice that the workers were waiting for is now being met. These bills guaranteeing salary protection, social security, health protection are Occupational Safety, Health and Working Code, 2020 and Industrial Relations Code 2020 and Social Security Code, 2020".  In the Rajya Sabha, the Financial Contracts Bilateral Netting Bill, 2020 (Bilateral Netting of Qualified Financial Contracts Bill, 202) has been passed. Now talking about the opposition party, they are jointly protesting against the Agriculture Bill in the Parliament premises and shouting slogans "Save farmers, Save labourers, Save democracy".
