Ujjain: A tragic incident has come to light from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Here the swing for the younger brother became a noose for the elder sister. The 10-year-old girl's neck got stuck while swinging on a swing. She lost her life due to suffocation. The accident took place on Sunday night. Urvashi (10), daughter of Naresh Dewangan, a resident of Raipur, had come to her maternal uncle's place in Ujjain. She was a student of 5th standard. Her maternal uncle Shailendra lives in Badi Mayapuri in the Dewas Gate police station area. On October 4, Naresh left daughter Urvashi, wife Komal and son Deepak here due to Navratri. He had said that after Diwali, he would take them back to Raipur.

Komal had made a saree swing on the second floor for her son Deepak. The girl's maternal uncle Shailendra said Urvashi used to play on the swing every day. The nephew also kept swinging and she used to play with him. Even on Sunday night, she was swinging alone with the help of a swing. No one was there at the time. We were busy with Diwali cleanliness. Painting is going on in the house. During this, she got a noose while roaming round and round. The daughter did not come down for a long time, so the mother came to look up. Here, the girl's neck was stuck in the swing. She was lying unconscious. The family immediately took her to the district hospital. The doctors there declared her dead. The police have kept the girl's body in the mortuary. After the arrival of the father, the post-mortem of the girl's body will be done.

After the death of the innocent, there is silence in the house. The maternal uncle of the deceased girl said that we had installed the swing in Sawan. Usually, children do not come upstairs to the terrace but on Sunday evening I was on duty. The family had gone to buy Diwali items. During this, when Urvashi reached the roof above, our neighbour also refused her to swing, but she did not agree. When the family reached home, they went looking for her on the terrace where she was found hanging in the swing. This incident shocked everyone.
