Govt's big gift to the employees of this state, salary will be paid before time

Patna: The Bihar government has decided to give Diwali and Chhath gifts to the government employees of its state. In fact, in view of the upcoming festivals, the salary for this month i.e. October will be paid to the government employees in Bihar before the scheduled time. State Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that his department has taken this step after consulting CM Nitish Kumar. In such a situation, the salary of the government employees of the state will be paid on October 20.

Corona was at its peak in the years 2020 and 2021. Due to this, it was forbidden to celebrate public festivals. However, this time there is nothing like that. Diwali will fall on October 23 and less than a week later, the festival of Chhath will take place. In such a situation, all these festivals will be celebrated with pomp this time. State Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary also said that due to the coronavirus epidemic, festivals were celebrated amid restrictions in the last few years and in such a situation, people will be eager to celebrate the festival with enthusiasm this year and that is why the government has decided to pay this month's salary earlier.

On behalf of the government, Finance Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar has written a letter to the Divisional Commissioner, Collector, Treasury Officer, Secretaries of all departments, Assembly, Legislative Council and Principal Secretary to the Governor regarding this decision. It has been said in the letter that in the coming days, Deepawali and Chhath are the biggest festivals. The government has decided that the salary of all the office bearers and employees for the month of October will be paid on October 20 itself.
