New Delhi: 11 cartridges were recovered from the VIP parking lot of New Delhi railway station on Tuesday (August 31, 2021). However, it is not clear at present to whom these cartridges belong and for what purpose they were brought here? According to media reports, the cartridges were found by PCR staff in the VIP parking lot coming towards Ajmeri Gate have been handed over to the local police.

However, the report quoting railway DCP also stated that the cartridges look official. They may belong to the RPF patrol team and may have been released during some time. But, at present, it is a matter of investigation, which is being investigated by the police. The NCR Planning Board will brainstorm on the draft Regional Plan-2041 aimed at making the National Capital Region (NCR) an improved connectivity zone by connecting cities with bullet trains, Heli taxi services, and modern road infrastructure.

As per the Regional Plan, the population of NCR is estimated to reach about 7 crores by 2031 and 11 crores by 2041. Therefore, NCR needs to be "prepared for the future" for sustainable development.
