Kanpur: Coronavirus infection is spreading rapidly in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The number of corona infected has increased to 232 in the city, of which 211 are active cases. Last Saturday, reports of some samples came in which coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 11 more policemen.

Kanpur's Chief Medical Officer Ashok Shukla has confirmed this. He said that in a test report of 293 samples that came on Saturday evening, 11 policemen including one woman inspector of the LAU (Local Intelligence Unit), SSP's PRO, 6 police line constables and 1 traffic constable were found to be Corona positive. Along with this, the 3-year-old daughter of a coron-infected Raipurwa police constable has also been found corona positive. There have been 232 number of corona infected in the district. Of these, 19 people have gone healthy from the hospital, while 4 corona patients have died.

The infection of the corona is spreading rapidly among policemen engaged in protecting the hot spot areas of the city. So far, many policemen posted in Chamanganj, Bekganj, Anwarganj, Bajaria and Jajmau areas of the city have become victims of Corona. A total of 24 Corona Hot Spots have been identified in Kanpur and so far 23 policemen have become Corona positive.
