Varanasi: As the work of Vishwanath Corridor in Kashi is progressing, the process of getting temple and Shivling is also increasing at the same pace. About 11 temples are reported to be demolished after demolishing the Karmikal Library and houses adjoining the Gyanvapi Mosque. Three temples have been found in it, in which the idol is not present.

Experts say that the idol of God from the temple may have been ruined. How old this temple is, still no clear answer has been found. The grandeur of the temple is estimated to have been built during the 11th-12th centuries. So far, 66 temples have been exposed from inside the corridor complex. It is planned to preserve all the temples, in which 30 temples will be given a grand appearance. The temple administration says that the idols will be installed in the temples where idols have not been found.

Two temples found in the demolition of the Carmichael Library are in the news. It has a temple of Dantpani Bhairava and the other is said to be the tomb of Shankaracharya. Experts say that the temple of Dantpani Bhairav looks many centuries old. Although prima facie people say that it is even older than the construction of Vishwanath temple. It is being said about the tomb of Shankaracharya that its history will be very ancient. On this, the temple administration says that both temples have been preserved safely. At what time both temples are, only the archaeology department will be able to tell.
