New Delhi: Delhi's Patiala House Court has ordered the framing of charges against Yasin Bhatkal, a member of the terrorist organisation Indian Mujahid, and 10 of his associates in the 2012 case of waging war against the country. After the court's order, the process of recording the statements of witnesses against these terrorists will start. These accused are facing charges of conspiracy to carry out terror attacks in different parts of the country.

The court has asked for the framing of charges against banned terrorist organisation Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal as well as several of its members, including Mohammad Danish Ansari, for conspiring to wage war against India in 2012. The court has ordered the framing of charges against terrorists Yasin Bhatkal, Danish Ansari, Mohd Aftab Alam, Imran Khan, Syed, Obaid ur Rehman, Asadullah Akhtar, Uzair Ahmed, Mohd Tehseen Akhtar, Haider Ali, and Zia ur Rehman.

Along with this, the court acquitted Manzar Imam, Ariz Khan, and Abdul Wahid Siddibappa, saying that the prosecution failed to provide prima facie evidence against them. The bench of Additional Sessions Judge Shailendra Malik of Patiala House Court said on Monday (April 3) that there is sufficient evidence on record to prosecute all these accused prima facie.
