Many people lost their lives in a road accident in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. According to officials and local media, a trailer-truck entered several vehicles parked on the freeway, killing 15 people and injuring about a dozen people. It is also being said that this fatal collision occurred hours after curfew imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus. It was told that after 7 o'clock in the evening, public transport stops and people are forbidden to enter the streets unless they have an exemption.

Officials said that a line of microbuses, trucks and cars was parked at a checkpoint on the road in central Cairo waiting for the authorities to approve their curfew waivers.
