Aurangabad: Recently, a shocking incident has come to light from Maharashtra, in which it is being told that when Rs 15 lakh arrived in the Jan Dhan account of a farmer from Aurangabad, he thought that it was given by the government. The farmer also expressed his gratitude by writing a letter to PM Narendra Modi for this. But what happened to the farmer after 5 months had never even imagined in his dream.

Dnyaneshwar Janardan Otte, a farmer of Davarwadi in Paithan taluka, got a notice from the bank, in which it was written that this amount has been wrongly deposited in his account. So he has to return that amount now. Actually, Dnyaneshwar's Jan Dhan account is in Bank of Baroda. 15 lakh rupees were deposited in that account on 17 August 2021. The farmer felt that PM Modi, following his promise made in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, has deposited money in the farmer's Jan Dhan account. Thereafter, the farmer got Rs 9 lakh out of that money and got a house built for himself. This news spread like fire in the whole village.

But after 5 months, the senses of farmer Jhaneshwar were blown away when he got a notice from the bank. Calling it a mistake, the bank said to deposit the money back. Now the matter has increased to such an extent that due to not being able to give money, the bank is continuously putting pressure on the farmer. On the other hand, the troubled farmer Jhaneshwar says that from where will he get so much money. He doesn't have that much money. At the same time, the bankers say that the Pimplewadi Gram Panchayat had not received the amount received from the 15th Finance Commission from the Zilla Parishad. Then after 4 months, when the Gram Panchayat came to know that this money has come in the account of Jhaneshwar. So the bank has sent a notice to them to refund the amount.
