This amount will be received by the family if they perform the last rites, or to the Municipal Corporation / Panchayat staff performing the last rites. Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare of Andhra Pradesh, Katamaneni Bhaskar, said that anyone who dies of Covid-19 performs the last rites. He will be given an amount of 15 thousand rupees from the government.
