Ace singer Lata Mangeshkar has praised this 16-year-old Indian Idol singer Nahid Afrin. The girl took part in Indian Idol Junior also she sang the song with Sonakshi Sinha (Raj Raj Ke) from her movie Akira. 

So, why she has been facing 46 Muslim clerics? According to Sharia laws and pamphlet issued to her- "Magic, Dance, Drama, Theatre etc. are against Sharia laws. Events like musical shows are against the Sharia law and future generations will be corrupted." 

This is because she has been issued fatwas. But the girl decided to fight back. 

She said, "Was shocked and broken from inside at first, but many Muslim singers gave me inspiration to not quit music, will never do so."

The singer also said, "My singing is a gift of God. I believe it must be properly utilised, not doing so is ignoring God."
