Ahmedabad: 166 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in the last 24 hours. The state health department reported on Thursday that the total coronavirus cases in the district have risen to 32,013. A statement issued by the department said that out of the new corona cases, 150 are from Ahmedabad city and 16 are from other parts of the district.

In the meantime, three more corona patient died in Ahemdabad, followed by a rise in the death toll to 1,741. According to the department, 76 patients of coronavirus are currently undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the district. According to this, the figure of people recovering in the district has reached 26,608.

The cases of corona in the country are increasing rapidly. Corona cases in India have crossed the 39 lakh mark. Friday has seen a major surge in coronavirus cases. On Friday, 83,341 new cases were reported in a day. According to data updated by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday morning, the death toll of 1,096 people in the last 24 hours has risen to 68,472. Corona cases have risen to 39,36,748 in India, out of which 8,31,124 are undergoing treatment and 30,37,152 people have recovered from the disease after treatment.
