Jaipur: Rajasthan BJP President Satish Poonia tested positive for COVID19. The chairman himself has informed about this by tweeting. Chairman Satish Poonia was on a tour to Jodhpur. After returning on Thursday, the chairman underwent a corona test in which his report came out positive.

BJP state president Satish Poonia has tweeted "I got #Covid_19 tested after coming to stay yesterday, although I did not have symptoms my report has come positive and on doctor's advice, I isolated myself at home. In the past, all those who came in my contact get their corona test done, thank you for your cooperation". 

Rajasthan BJP President Satish Poonia has returned from Jodhpur tour on Thursday. During this time, he visited many areas including Osian. He had a meeting with party leaders and workers. BJP officials and workers who came in contact with Satish Poonia are undergoing tests. Party leaders are reaching for the test in Osian CHC. On September 2, Satish Poonia was in Osian.

Apart from this, 86227 positive cases of corona infection have been reported till Thursday in Rajasthan. Out of which 13912 infected people are being treated in different hospitals. On Thursday, 1553 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state. Officials said that a total of 14 people died in the state on Thursday from this epidemic. The total number of people who died from this dangerous virus in the state has reached 1095.
