New Delhi: PM Modi today addressed the convocation parade ceremony of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Police Academy through video conference. Talking with the probationer IPS officers, PM Modi said that "I would like to tell all the new police officers that you will have to remain as much aware as you can in the initial days of your service".

To the probationer IPS officers, PM Narendra Modi said that "You may have to suffer initially, but try to understand things with your ear, with your eye and with your mind. You decide how the police station around you should become the centre of social trust. You decide that you will change the system, the atmosphere". PM Narendra Modi said that "Have we ever emphasized on the culture of our police stations? How should our police station become the centre of social trust? Prepare a list of all the police stations under your control, whether or not you can change the person, but I can change the system and the environment, this should be your priority".

PM Modi said that "You have to make an impact on ordinary people or add a bridge of love. You decide it. If you create the effect, then its age is very less. If you make bridges of love, people will remember you even after your retirement".
