Khartoum: 18 Indians have died in a blast in a ceramic factory in Khartoum, Sudan. According to the information given by the embassy, six of those who died are residents of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palanasamy has asked PM Narendra Modi to instruct the authorities in this matter so that detailed information about the accident can be found. Apart from this, an emergency number has also been issued by the Embassy in Sudan.
LPG tanker exploded in a factory in Sudan, due to which many people have died here. The information provided by the Indian Embassy in Khartoum states that several people were injured in a LPG tanker explosion in a ceramic factory named Silla. More than 50 Indians also work here. There have been reports that many people are feared to have died.
The emergency number issued by the embassy is from Sudan and the number is + 249-921917471. It is a 24-hour emergency number and any information can be obtained by calling on it. A total of 23 people have died in this incident and 130 people have been injured.
