There are bumper recruitments in the Himachal Pradesh Elementary Education Department. While this will remove the shortage of teachers in schools, the trained unemployed can get jobs. With this, 1807 posts of Shastri and Language teachers can be filled in Himachal government schools. The Directorate of Elementary Education has started the recruitment process after the approval of the Himachal government. 50 percent posts will be filled by batchwise and 50 percent by direct recruitment. At the same time, the Directorate has divided the posts district-wise.

Direct recruitment can be done through the Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur. 1182 posts of Shastri and 625 posts of language teachers will be filled. With the commencement of this recruitment process, the threat of hiring of SMC teachers appointed for the past several years has started. These posts of Shastri and Language teacher will be filled in place of SMC. Along with this, Director Rohit Jamwal said that the recruitment and promotion rules will soon complete the recruitment process. At the same time, the Directorate of Elementary Education has issued instructions to the district deputy directors to complete the recruitment process soon. Under this recruitment, after waiting for many years, youth sitting in wait for their number will get a job.

The screw is still stuck in TGT-JBT recruitment
Trouble is still afoot to fill 1304 posts of TGT and 693 posts of JBT. TGT recruitment has not been decided yet due to the subject combination being wrong under RUSA. Apart from this, this recruitment is also stuck due to B.Ed being considered eligible for JBT recruitment. In December 2019, the state government approved the filling of 3636 teachers posts.
