Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress for questioning India's claim over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), asserting that every inch of it belongs to India and cannot be taken away by force. Addressing an election rally in Khunti, Jharkhand, Shah slammed Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar and INDIA alliance leader Farooq Abdullah for suggesting that India should respect Pakistan's claims due to its possession of nuclear weapons.

Shah reiterated BJP's stance on PoK, stating that it unequivocally belongs to India, as unanimously agreed upon by Parliament. He accused the Congress of raising doubts about India's claim over PoK by bringing up the issue of nuclear weapons.

Highlighting corruption allegations against the JMM-led alliance in Jharkhand, Shah accused them of involvement in various scams, including a ₹300-crore land scam, a ₹1,000-crore mining scam, a ₹1,000-crore MNREGA scam, and a ₹40-crore liquor scam. He vowed to prevent the alliance from misappropriating public funds.

Shah also criticized the Congress and JMM for engaging in "vote-bank politics" and accused them of obstructing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for 70 years. He praised Prime Minister Modi for completing the construction of the temple in five years. Shah questioned Rahul Gandhi for the Congress's failure to appoint any tribal President during its rule.
