Gauhat: In a major development, the Gauhati University announced on Wednesday that the 1st semester examinations for the year 2020 will be conducted by the University from August 9. This information came as a respite for the students whose future preparations were hanging on a delicate balance owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The respite came after an official statement from the Gauhati University was made on this regards. 

The statement read, "This is for information of all concerned that the TDC BA, BSc, BCom and BVoc 1st semester Examination 2020 will be held 9th august, 2021." Earlier, The Gauhati University (GU) has announced that the MBA entrance examination under the varsity and its affiliated colleges for the session 2021-2022 will be conducted on August 8 at 10:00 am. The admit card will be available from August 1 in www.guportal.in.
