Kolkata: The Mamata government is facing all-around criticism for burning alive 8 people in West Bengal's Birbhum district. In view of this, CM Mamata Banerjee has ordered the state police to nab the culprits from the entire state and recover the weapons within 10 days. On Friday (March 25, 2022), the police recovered more than 200 bombs in connection with the Birbhum violence case.

According to media reports, police had also on Thursday busted an arms manufacturing factory at Salanpur in West Burdwan district and recovered a large number of weapons. Police said the bombs hidden in the bushes near Chotan Dangal under the Madgram police station area of the district have been destroyed. However, no one has been reported to have been arrested so far. At the same time, the bomb found in the village has created panic among the people. Meanwhile, in the second phase of the Budget Session of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha today witnessed uproarious scenes over the Birbhum violence.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Roopa Ganguly started crying emotionally while raising the issue of Birbhum. Roopa Ganguly hit out at the Mamata government, saying, "This time only 8 people have died. Don't die more sir, it doesn't matter if you die too much. The thing is that the burn is killed. The thing is that illegal guns are kept. The thing is, you don't trust the police.'' The thing is that if Anees Khan dies, only a CBI inquiry is demanded. She said that there have been 26 political killings in seven days. The post-mortem report said that first their hands and legs were broken and burnt in a closed room. Roopa Ganguly demanded the imposition of the President's Rule in Bengal.
