Sikar,on Wednesday, court announced a imprisonment of five years to man in connection with a 2014 rape case of 14-year-old girl.
Also, a fine of Rs 5000 was imposed by District and Sessions court on Anil Kumar Jat for abducting and raping the girl when she was going to school in October 2014.
Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India.
Using a small sample survey, Human Rights Watch projects more than 7,200 minors -1.6 in 100,000 minors are raped each year in India.
