2023 Z900 from Kawasaki is now available in India for $8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). None of the motorcycle's mechanical components is improved. Instead, new dual-tone paint schemes are the only external improvements. Ebony pairs with Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray, while Metallic Phantom Silver pairs with Metallic Carbon Gray. For both colours, Kawasaki is asking the same amount.

The paint scheme does update some of the Z900's design aspects, to start off with the revisions. Depending on the colour scheme chosen, the frame and alloy wheels are either completed in red or green. A Z-shaped LED tail lamp, a muscular fuel tank with tank shrouds, a split seat configuration, and an aggressive LED headlamp are all present upfront.

The same 948 cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that powers the Kawasaki Z900 complies with BS6 regulations. It generates 98.6 Nm of maximum torque at 7,700 rpm and 123.6 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. It is connected to a six-speed transmission and has a side-mounted exhaust system.

The Z900 incorporates traction control, which stops power delivery when it notices that the back tyre has lost grip. Low power and full power are the available power modes. The output is capped at 55% in low power mode. Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider are the four riding settings. The motorcycle can be configured to the rider's preferences in Rider. The instrument cluster has a TFT screen that displays important data and has Bluetooth connectivity.

41 mm USD forks in the front and a monoshock in the back do the suspension work. High-tensile steel makes up the trellis frame that Kawasaki is using. Braking duties are done by dual 300 mm petal discs in the front and a 250 mm petal disc at the rear.
