Chhatarpur: A college student, who attended a public hearing in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, cut off a hand vein in a meeting in front of the district magistrate, following which the student has been admitted to the district hospital in a critical condition. According to the report, at the ongoing public hearing in Chhatarpur district panchayat, the 23-year-old college student had come up with an application for waiver of college fees and for his maintenance, where he cut the vein of his hand in the meeting in front of the district magistrate when he did not receive a satisfactory reply and insaf.

Savita Dubey, a student admitted in the same hospital, said that she is 6 sisters and 1 brother. His father Narendra Dubey was posted as REAO in the Agriculture Department. Who passed away on July 14, 2019. My three older sisters have been married while my father is. The mother lives separately with her 26-year-old son. He loves his son, not his daughters. In father's service, the nominee was the mother, so all the money of the job/insurance has been given to the mother and the pension is also given to the mother. We don't get even one rupee. The victim said that we three sisters live separately in a rented house and do our education and maintenance by studying tuitions ourselves.

At the same time, the student said that she is a ba student in Maharaja's College. Her younger sister Muskan (17 years) is doing Muskan BA. At the same time, the elder sister, 26-year-old Kavita, is doing her BSC-BED from Avantibai Private College in the city, who is a first semester student. According to 22 thousand rupees per annum, 70-80 thousand rupees fee has to be paid, which we do not have. The fees are very high, recently we have made arrangements (by teaching tuitions) to collect something. Now, we don't have the money and we have to pay the fees. For which we went to the public hearing that our fees should be waived off and maintenance should be arranged.
