Ahmedabad: 24 doctors working in hospitals run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Gujarat tested positive for corona in the last 3 days. Officers have given this information on Friday. In this regard, they said that 38 trainee policemen have also been found positive in a village near Gandhinagar. Regarding this Deputy Commissioner of Municipal Corporation OP Machra said, "Of the twenty-four doctors who have confirmed coronavirus, 4 are senior doctors or faculty members of affiliated medical colleges and all others are junior doctors. ''

These doctors are from 4 municipal corporation-run hospitals in the city - VS Hospital, SVP Hospital, LG Hospital and Sharadaben Hospital. Of these, only SVP Hospital is providing treatment to Corona patients. Officers said that 38 trainee policemen of the village Gujarat Police Academy, near Gandhinagar, have been confirmed to be infected in the last two days. Additional DGP, Vikas Sahay said, "On seeing the symptoms of corona in another trainee policeman, the academy conducted a corona examination of twelve trainee constables. ''

He further said, "8 of these 12 trainee constables have been confirmed to be positive." After this, we got 50 others examined in the contact of these people, of which 30 have been confirmed infected. Not all of them have symptoms of corona infection and they have been kept in separate habitats within the premises for treatment.
