In Punjab, 88 people infected with COVID19 died on Thursday. The number of people who died of this virus in the state has reached 2149. Meanwhile, 2464 new infected cases were reported, with which the total number of people affected by corona in the state has reached 72143. At present, 18,088 serious patients have been isolated in various hospitals of the state, out of which 623 patients are in critical condition. Of these 544 patients are on oxygen support and 79 on ventilator support. Meanwhile, during the last twenty-four hours, 1348 patients are also reported to be recovering.

The 2464 new cases confirmed during this period include 307 in Mohali, 295 in Amritsar, 277 in Jalandhar, 202 in Bathinda, 195 in Pathankot, 156 in Gurdaspur, 144 in Patiala, 141 in Hoshiarpur, 120 in Ludhiana, 91 in Kapurthala. 80 in Faridkot, 76 in Tarn Taran, 75 in Muktsar, 62 in Ferozepur, 50 in Sangrur, 43 in Ropar, 36 in Fazilka, thirty in Fatehgarh Sahib, 27 in Barnala, 22 in Moga, twenty in Mansa and fifteen in Nawanshahar.
