Mumbai: Police have gunned down 50 lakh prize Naxalite Milind Teltumbade in Gadchiroli encounter in Maharashtra. Where it is known that Milind Teltumbade Bhima was the wanted criminal in the Koregaon case. In fact, at least 26 Naxalites have been gunned down in an encounter with police in the Gadchiroli district of eastern Maharashtra, about 900 kilometres from Mumbai, on Saturday.

The encounter lasted for nearly 12 hours: The police officer said that the encounter which started in the morning lasted for about 12 hours. Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police Ankit Goel said on Sunday that as per preliminary identification, Milind is one of the 26 Naxalites killed in Saturday's encounter. At present, the identity of the other slain Naxalites is being ascertained.

Four jawans injured: According to the information received four jawans were injured in the encounter. After which they were rescued by other team members immediately. The injured policemen were admitted to a nearby hospital. They had been admitted to the Critical Care Complex of Orange City Hospital and Research Institute in Nagpur. Where they are being treated.
