New Delhi: BSP President Mayawati's mother Ramrati passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack at a hospital. She was 92 years old. This information was given by BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra. He has condoled the passing away and posted on Koo: "It is with great sadness to inform that the National President of BSP, former MP and former CM sister of UP, Mrs Ramrati Ji, the revered mother of Mayawati Ji, about 92 years old passed away due to cardiac arrest in the hospital."
 
He further wrote, "Nature gives everyone the strength to bear this suffering. Her last rites will be performed tomorrow when sister Ji reaches Delhi and family gathers."

Mayawati left for Delhi: A statement issued by the BSP said Mayawati has left for Delhi soon after receiving information about her mother's death. Ramrati is scheduled to be cremated in Delhi on Sunday. Party leaders and workers have condoled the passing away of the party president's mother.  Mayawati's father Prabhu Dayal passed away about a year ago at the age of 95.
