Lucknow: Another minor Hindu girl has become a victim of love jihad by men in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The girl's family claimed that the minor was abducted from Sarerah Bazar and taken to Gujarat by three Muslim youths, where they held her captive and gang-raped her and forced her to get married. He also threatened to sell her to prostitution brokers if she did not do so. According to the report, after 14 days, the minor called and informed the family about her presence in Gujarat, after which the family told the victim's maternal uncle, a resident there, about the matter. Then mama reached the girl while searching. Then about 18 days later, the family from Gujarat brought the girl back to Banda in UP. 

The minor's father had lodged an FIR on May 15 against unidentified persons for taking away his daughter. At the same time, the police have registered a case under other relevant sections including religious conversion along with recording the statement. The police have launched a search for the accused. According to the report, the case is from a locality in Naraini Kotwali police station area. On the evening of May 14, the minor had gone to buy vegetables in the town square and suddenly disappeared from there. When they did not reach home, the family started searching for the girl, but the girl could not be found anywhere. After this, the family lodged a kidnapping case against unknown people on May 15. According to the family, after 14 days, when the daughter called her mother's mobile and narrated the incident,  she lost consciousness. The girl said she was drugged by some Muslim youths and taken to Gujarat with them.

The family said that their relatives live in Surat, who found the minor two days later and brought her back to Banda. The girl alleged that the accused youth used to work in a cloth shop in Naraini area. On the evening of May 14, he sniffed some drugs and took me with him. The girl was unconscious throughout the night after which she was brought to Surat in Gujarat. When she resisted, he tied a handkerchief to her mouth and threatened her to keep quiet. When the teenager reached Surat, other people were also present there. It is alleged that everyone used to imprison her in the room and go to their work. The young man had taken out the SIM from the teenager's mobile and hid it. However, on searching, the girl found the SIM and called the family and told them about the matter.

She was also gang-raped by two friends who lived with the accused in Surat, the victim said. The accused used to threaten them when they protested. According to the teenager, the accused youth used to say, 'Get married or else I will sell it here'. They say that the minor came in contact with a Muslim youth through a woman, who took her to Surat after sniffing something and gang-raped her.

Banda ASP Laxmi Niwas Mishra said, "On the evening of May 14, a girl from Naraini police station came to Surat with a boy from the Muslim community. As soon as this information was received on May 15, a case was registered immediately. Police teams were engaged in the search, the girl was rescued with the help of surveillance last evening. She is undergoing medical treatment. A statement of Section 164 is being made. Based on the victim's statement, a case has also been registered under relevant sections. A section of the UP Law Against Religious Conversion Act has also been added to it. Several teams have been formed and the accused will be arrested soon."
