Bhopal: How much the terror of mining mafia has increased in Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh can be gauged from the way he attacked the raiding police team. Three policemen were badly injured in the attack. According to police, they were illegally taking sand from Ghat late on Tuesday night and loaded onto the carts.

The police team, which came to this notice, was attacked by mining mafia operatives. One of the soldiers suffered a serious leg injury. The incident took place at bank of the river in Mamsi village of Pahari police station area of Chitrakoot. Police from the border Kamasin police station also rushed to the spot after receiving information about the attack on the police team. The police team has identified the attackers and started a search.

Three soldiers were seriously injured in the attack by mining mafia operatives. He has been admitted to a community health centre. According to the information received, illegal mining takes place on a large scale at Bage river Ghat near Mamsi village on Chitrakoot-Banda border. Here, after loading the sand and transporting the sand to the road, it is loaded into trucks and sent ahead.
