Istanbul: More than 100 people have lost their lives in the devastation caused by the earthquake in Turkey. Meanwhile, during relief work, a three-year-old girl has been taken out alive after about 65 hours. Turkish firefighter Celik took this girl out safely. Muammar Selik later said to the media that I have seen a miracle today, this can only be possible by the grace of God.

Selik told that when I saw this girl trapped in the debris, she was probably sleeping. I assumed her dead and also asked my partner for a body bag for him. However, as soon as I cleaned her face with a wet handkerchief, she opened her eyes. She caught my thumb hard. I had never seen such a miracle till today. Let us tell you that for the last 65 hours Turkish firefighter teams have been engaged in search and relief work.

Hours earlier, a 14-year-old girl was rescued alive during relief work in Izmir city of Turkey. All the family members of this girl were killed and she is left alone. According to the US Geological Survey, earthquake intensity in many areas of Turkey exceeded 7 on the reactor scale. Celik told that the 3-year-old girl is now healthy and many of her family members have also been saved, though her elder brother, who was 7-years-old, died in the tragedy.
