Amritsar: A revolt has once again started against Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. 30 MLAs, including some ministers, have opened a front against the captain. All of them are demanding the removal of Captain Amarinder as chief minister. A meeting of all disgruntled MLAs and ministers has been held at the house of Cabinet Minister Tripti Rajender Bajwa on the issue.
After the meeting, Sati Bajwa said that 'CM Saheb (Captain Amarinder) wants to divide the Congress, so we and I all want the Chief Minister to be changed, otherwise, the Congress will not survive.' Bajwa said we are going to meet Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi to raise our voice. Leaving for Delhi today. Apart from Sati Bajwa, ministers Sukhwinder Randhawa and Charanjeet Singh Channi were also present at the meeting and have also questioned the captain.
These people say CM Amarinder's leadership cannot be believed. Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi has said that a lot of election promises are still incomplete. Liquor, sand, and cable mafia still exist. We are seeking a meeting time with the party high command to meet on these issues.
