Bangalore: A section of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been upset since the cabinet expansion of the BS Yeddyurappa-led government in Karnataka earlier. CM Yeddyurappa had a dinner party at his residence in Bengaluru on Tuesday with the intention of removing the displeasure of his ministers and BJP MLAs. BJP's 38 MLAs did not arrive at BS Yeddyurappa's dinner party, after which there are signs of increasing interferences in the party.

More than 30 BJP MLAs had decided not to attend CM BS Yeddyurappa's dinner party. All these MLAs have not come from any other party, but are considered to be of hardcore BJP and Sangh ideology. In the recently expanded cabinet, they have not found a place in Yeddyurappa's team, due to which they are said to be angry. The absence of more than 30 of these BJP MLAs in the Chief Minister's dinner party can become a headache for the party.

One and a half dozen Congress and JDS MLAs in Karnataka joined the BJP by rebelling from their party, due to which the BJP government was formed under the leadership of BS Yeddyurappa. Yeddyurappa paid attention to the leaders of Congress-JDS in his cabinet. More than a dozen MLAs of the party had opened the front regarding the ministers included in the recent cabinet expansion and made their request to the party high command.
