Mumbai: A fire broke out in Versova area of Mumbai on Wednesday morning in a warehouse. Cylinder godown located on Yari Road has caught fire. Many cylinders have been blasted so far. So far 4 people have been injured in this incident, who have been admitted to the Cooper Hospital for treatment. 16 fire engines have reached the site of the incident.
According to the information received, the fire is of Level-2. Cylinder blast can be heard in many videos of the warehouse. The fire started at 10.10 am. LPG cylinders are kept in this warehouse, so many cylinders are being blasted. The area has been evacuated. 16 vehicles are trying to control the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet, but many Twitter consumers said that flames and smoke swells are visible everywhere. The warehouse is near the residential building, for this reason, people are very scared. This is the fourth fire incident in Mumbai and surrounding areas in the last 24 hours. There was a fire in Mankhurd area earlier. The fire brigade took more than 20 hours to overcome this level-3 fire. A fire worker was also injured while extinguishing the fire in Mankhurd.
