Thrissur: The Court had on Monday convicted a pastor to 40 years of Imprisonment for raping a minor girl. The Court sentenced K. James a native of Kuttickal near Karukachal in Kottayam district, of committing the crime during the school vacation of 2014.
The case was that Sanil raped a 12 years minor girl in the Salvation Army church at Peechi in Thrissur in April 2014. However, the case was registered by Peechi police and the chargesheet was submitted by CI A. Umesh and the police investigated the case.
Justice K.P. Sudheer set up the special court to stop atrocities against children pronounced the quantum of sentence.
Also, another case has been filled against Sanil for raping a scheduled caste girl. And case is yet to start.
