New Delhi: In the capital of the country, 42 people have died due to coronavirus epidemic while 27 infected people are being treated in ICU and six are on a ventilator. While giving information to the media on Saturday, Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that with 67 new cases, the total number of coronavirus affected has reached 1767.

Delhi ranks second in the case of virus infection in the country. On Thursday, the maximum number of six deaths were reported from Corona in Delhi in a single day. On Friday, four infected people died. Mr Jain said that 911 infected people are undergoing treatment in different hospitals with 27 ICUs and six patients on ventilators. Of the total infected patients in Delhi, 1080 are to be removed by special operation.

The Health Minister said that Delhi has received 45 thousand quick test kits. He said that in the Corana hotspot areas of New Delhi, the work of testing with these kits will be started from Sunday. There are 68 corona-affected hotspots in Delhi which have been completely sealed.
