Jammu: The IG of the Kashmir range in Jammu and Kashmir said that in the last few months, many prominent commanders of terrorist organizations have been killed. In the North Kashmir, there are still more than 50 terrorists active, in which only a few commanders are left alive. He said that whatever rumour is spreading, it is completely untrue.

On Thursday, IG Vijay Kumar said that "In North Kashmir, there are active terrorists, including some commanders. One of these is the Lashkar commander Salim Parre of Sumipal of Bandipora, and we do not want to make the names public at the moment. Out of the top 12 terrorists, three terrorists from North Kashmir were Sajjad Haider, Nasir and Usman, who have been killed".

Giving information about the plan of the terrorists, he said that "Most of the attacks have been carried out by the terrorists on the Naka party. Due to the lockdown, many blocks have to be set, and during this time, they carried out the attacks. During the search of civilians, the focus is on that side, by taking advantage of this, the terrorists carried out the attacks". He further said that "The number of active terrorists in Kashmir is around 195. Some have died and some are new. The leadership of the terrorists was over. Big names like Riyaz Naiku, Yasir Kari, Fauji Bhai, Waleed Bhai have been abolished. The eyes of the security forces on these terrorists".
