Total cases of COVID-19 have reached 71,75,881 in India, out of which active cases are only 8,38,729. 62,27,296 persons have been died in the country by the deadly COVID-19 virus. However, 1,09,856 persons have died due to COVID-19 virus infection so far. The country is seeing a decrease in the number of cases being exposed every day. 74,383 cases of COVID-19 were reported on Sunday, 66,732 on Monday, and 55342 on Tuesday. The number of dead is also decreasing. In addition, the rate of recovery of infected people in the country has been 86.17%.
On October 5, 61,267 patients were found in the country, whereas before that on August 25, 60,975 new patients were found. Apart from this, there has also been a decrease in the number of people who died of infection. It is also a matter of relief that on Sunday, 71,559 patients have been discharged across the country, and it is necessary that we maintain our vigilance.
