Bollywood has had a toxic relationship with the underworld, 0n the one hand the mafia has produced Bollywood movies, while on the other it has threatened the film industry’s directors, actors, and producers. It is said that Haji Mastan ( renowned don) was the first to forage into the blingy world of the Hindi film industry. He produced movies of his mistress to support her budding acting career. He even had celebrity friends like Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dharmendra, Firoze Khan, and Sanjeev Kumar. 
Underworld Dons has always shown its interest in Bollywood movies and its leading men and ladies. There have been many such instances when they were seen with Bollywood actors or threatened. The film industry’s relationship with the “D-Company” is considered the worst kept secret. There are even various Bollywood heroines who had a relationship with dons.

The D Company, which is renowned to have financed a lot of Bollywood films, was instrumental in influencing producers to cast her. She is one of the renowned faces of Bollywood and she is active in film industry even in today.

Anita and Dawood Ibrahim: Anita a Pakastani actress made her Bollywood debut in 1993 with the movie Pyaar Ka Tarana, but the actress, unfortunately, had a very brief career here. Along with films, this Pakistani actress was seen in many ads and commercial productions but her career ended as she was rumored to have coveted connections with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. There was a time when producer Javed Siddiqui, who refused to cast the Pakistani actress in a movie, was shot dead by Dawood’s people.

Sona and Haji Mastan: You might not have her name. Sona was famous for her similarity with the actress Madhubala to another level. Hazi Mastann even married Sona, who famously resembled his favorite actress.
Mamta Kulkarni and Vikram Goswami: One of the famous actresses of her time Mamta Kulkarni has appeared in many movies including Karan Arjun, and Naseeb. Jasmine Dhunna: Veerana fame actress Jasmine was also said to have been involved with the well-known gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
