The police has become very strict for those spreading rumors about Covid 19 i.e. Corona. In this case, the Goa Police has arrested a 60-year-old man. There is an allegation on this person that he was spreading some false news related to COVID-19 quarantine facilities on social media.

In his statement, an official said that he had posted some false news on social media about Covid-19 quarantine facilities in Calangut village. The name of this person is being told as Walter Lobo, who has been arrested by the police. Lobo hails from Umtavado in Calangute.

A senior official said that a complaint was filed against him for uploading an incorrect video clip on Facebook. In which it was said to keep paid quarantined workers in a private hospital in Calangute. He further said that this post had increased concern among the people. The officer said that the accused has got bail at the moment but further investigation is being done.
