Ranchi: 61 girls of Jharkhand's Khuntpani Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls' School had complained against the school management in the DC office. On which the state government has taken big action. The state government has directed the removal of the night guard from the hostel and the transfer of the entire permanent staff including the warden to the remote school. Along with this, a thorough investigation has also been ordered into the accounts of the school for two years.
Apart from this, parents of girl students have been called to the institute for breaking the discipline of the school. Because the girl students ran away from the school late at night without informing anyone and reached the DC office. An advisory will be issued to parents asking their children to maintain discipline. In fact, 61 girl students ran away from school late at one o'clock on Sunday night. The girl students fled from there and reached the DC office, 17 km away. Their allegation was that they were not being given facilities in Kasturba Vidyalaya as per government rules. Stale food is served to them and that too very rarely. The toilets are cleaned during the class. They have to make arrangements for everything by themselves.
The girl students alleged that they are also harassed by the school management. They are fined without any reason. Annoyed by the lack of facilities and harassment, they thought of complaining to the DC and were forced to run away from the school in the dark of night. There was an outpouring of anger among the girl students against the school management and the warden. District Superintendent of Education Abhay Kumar reached the DC office after getting the information about the girl students who reached the DC office to complain. He interacted with the girl students and listened to their problems and complaints. The District Superintendent of Education said that the allegations leveled against the school management are very serious. The entire matter will be investigated.
