Mumbai: The corona infection in Maharashtra is becoming fatal day by day. Last Thursday, 61,695 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported and the total number of cases has now increased to 36,39,855. It is said that the death toll due to the epidemic has increased to 59,153 with the death of 349 more patients. In fact, the State Health Department has given this information.

You can see that this is the second-highest ever figure of new cases reported in a day of covid-19. In fact, earlier on 11th April, 63,294 cases were reported. At present, the Department has issued a release stating that 53,335 more people were discharged from hospitals after recovering during the day. So far, 29,59,056 people have recovered in the state. According to a release issued at the same time, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the State is now 6,20,060.

In Mumbai, the total number of cases has reached 5,53,404 after 8,209 new cases of the epidemic were reported. In addition, the death toll due to the death of 50 more people increased to 12,197. The data released by the Department indicates that 2,34,452 more samples were tested in Maharashtra. 2,30,36,652 samples have been tested in the State so far. The department said that at present 35,87,478 people are living in houses in the state while 27,273 people are in institutional separate habitation centers.
