Shillong: Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the whole country. Cases of corona are reported in Meghalaya too. In many districts of Meghalaya, Corona has spread its legs rapidly, due to which the number of patients is increasing. In the state, 63 more people including 49 security personnel have been found infected with the coronavirus.  On Thursday, the figure of corona infected people has increased to 1,598. A health officer has given this information. Director of Health Services Aman War has said that out of the new cases of infection, fifty cases have been reported in East Khasi Hills, 7 in Western Garo Hills, 5 in Ri-Bhoi and one in East Garo. He further said, "Among the new cases, 41 personnel of the military forces and 8 personnel of the Border Security Force are also included. ''

According to the director, 5 people were discharged from the hospital after Corona was freed, with this, 730 people have been cured so far. So far 6 infected people have died due to this fatal infection in the state. He said that 862 patients are currently being treated in Meghalaya.

East Khasi Hills District has the highest number of 515 patients undergoing treatment while 214 are being treated in Western Garo Hills District and 100 in Ri Bhoi. Warr further said, "There are 210 security personnel in the 515 patients undergoing treatment in the East Khasi Hills District. "
