Bengaluru: On Friday, 6,670 new cases of corona have been reported in Karnataka, with the total figure of corona infected in the state has increased to 1,64,924. According to the Health Department, the death toll has reached 2,998 after 101 more deaths due to corona epidemic. The department said that 3,951 people in the state have been discharged from separate hospitals after being corona free.

So far, 84,232 people who have become healthy in the state have been discharged, however, treatment of 77,686 infected people is going on. Out of 6,670 cases revealed on Friday, 2,147 cases of corona virus have been reported in Bengaluru city area alone. A total of 16,24,628 samples have been investigated so far in the state.

Let us tell you that the process of getting corona infected in India is going on continuously. In the last 24 hours, 64,399 new cases of corona infection have been reported. Now the total number of infected have reached 21,53,011. At the same time, 861 infected people died after which the figure of total deaths has reached 43,379.

However, the matter of relief is that the number of patients recovering is increasing rapidly. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health on Sunday morning, 14,80,885 patients have been completely cured at the rate of 69 percent in India. There are 6,28,747 active corona cases in India so far, which is about 29 percent of the patients. The virus has been confirmed in 50,000 on the 11th day and more than 60,000 people on the third day.
