New Delhi, October 17 - In a grand ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today, President Droupadi Murmu proudly conferred the highly coveted 69th National Film Awards. The much-anticipated event featured an array of deserving winners across various categories.
Among the standout awardees, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt emerged as the joint victors of the Best Actress accolade, cementing their prowess in the film industry. Furthermore, the spotlight shone on Allu Arjun, who created history by becoming the first Telugu star to claim the Best Actor honor at the National Film Awards for his compelling performance in 'Pushpa.'
The list of winners was announced in August 2023, generating excitement and anticipation for the awards ceremony. This year's awards showcased a diverse range of exceptional talents and cinematic achievements.
R. Madhavan, known for his acting prowess, took a different path by turning director with "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect." This endeavor earned him the prestigious national award for Best Feature Film, demonstrating his multifaceted talents. Meanwhile, the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration was fittingly bestowed upon 'The Kashmir Files.'
