Shimla: Seven people were reportedly feared dead in separate incidents triggered by heavy rains and flash floodsKullu distrct, Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, officials said.

Also, more than 25 workers at the Malana power project in the area were saved from a structure that had suffered damage from flash floods. At least four persons are suspected to have been washed away and the bridge over the Parvati River at Manikaran in the district due to flash floods brought on by a cloud burst, they claimed.

In addition, three people are feared drowned in different parts of Kullu district amid heavy rains.  Sudesh Mokhta, director of state disaster management, reported that four to six individuals are still unaccounted for after a cloudburst hit Chojh village in Challal panchayat of Kullu district at around six in the morning. The Chojh cloudburst also caused damage to the bridge across the Parvati River, Kullu Superintendent of Police Gurdev Sharma said.

Larje and Pandoh dams' floodgates are being opened, and residents of the nearby communities have been put on high alert. Rescue and relief efforts are under progress.
