New Delhi: Thousands of farmers have been frozen at the Singhu border for the last 24 hours on their way to Delhi to protest against three agricultural laws brought by the central government, which has led to a jam of nearly seven kilometers. At the same time, the farmers gathered on the border will meet in the afternoon to determine the strategy.

Haryana and Delhi Police have barred farmers from entering Delhi after heavy barricading. However, the government has allowed the demonstration at Nirankari Maidan in Burari, Delhi, but the farmers are not ready to go there and is frozen at the border. Due to the farmers' strike, about seven kilometers long jam from National Highway-44 to Singhu Rai twentieth mile from Shocka to the border has been blocked. For this reason vehicles coming from Panipat are stuck in a jam. Seeing the jam, police are diverting vehicles coming from Panipat towards Sonipat and Khevada.

Along with this, the police have blocked the vehicles from going towards the border by making a blockade at Beaswamil Chowk. Due to the queues of trucks, the twentieth mile has been jammed from Shukh to Singhu border. Trucks filled with fruits and vegetables and food grains are also stranded on the GT road. Due to the jam, the daily commuters are also facing a huge problem, they are being forced to go on foot.
